    Charlie Greenstein | Head of TV & Film

    Charlie has worked in television and film production for over twenty years.

    After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1994 with a degree in Political Science, Charlie found her way to the BBC in 1997.  She started as a Production Secretary in the Youth & Entertainment department and spent the next thirteen years working in various production roles across all genres; Entertainment, Factual, Religion, Comedy, Drama and Digital.  Charlie was one of ten BBC employees selected and funded through the prestigious BBC Management Training Scheme. Once she graduated she was fast-tracked onto the Production Management training scheme, becoming a BBC Production Manager in 2000.

    Charlie has worked on some of the most watched programmes of the nineties and noughties including; Top of the Pops, Strictly Come Dancing, A Question of Sport, Mastermind, I Love the 70s, The One Show, and Dragon’s Den.

    Charlie left the BBC to move to the USA in 2011 and on her return in 2013 she started working as a freelance Line Producer working on documentary projects for National Geographic.

    In recent years Charlie has been working as a Production Consultant advising English country estates on their film and TV strategy, focusing both on the film location side and the adaptation of agricultural buildings to provide much needed studio and set-build space to the TV & Film Industry here in the UK. Her clients include Fox Searchlight, BBC, ITV, Tiger Aspect, Red Productions, Mammoth Screen and Lime Pictures.
